The strongSwan User-Mode-Linux (UML) testing environment allows to simulate a multitude of VPN scenarios including NAT-traversal. The UML framework can be put to many uses:

The strongSwan User-Mode-Linux framework was developed by Eric Marchionni and Patrik Rayo, both recent graduates from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences Winterthur in Switzerland.
